Race against the clock on the path around Nelson park. This was the first race I have put on in Salem. This is a fun course that has a small hill at the start and some blackberry bush obsticles right aftert the hill, then almost half way through there is a nice little hairpin turn. Towards the end of the course there is a tight left followed by a tight right then down to the finish line. There were 7 riders that showed and everyone was able to take a couple practice runs, then three timed runs. There were no wipe-outs and we only had to redo one run because a dog blocked the path on one of Cory's runs. The prizes for the three fastest times were LongBoardLarry shirts. But in the end everyone got a shirt. If you missed this race keep watching for the next one!
